  • Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Litigation, Large Loss, Water Mitigation, Desk Review)

  • For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned reps from those areas to achieve best outcome

  • Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems

  • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

  • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle

  • Demonstrates broad understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department

This role provides customer support via phone, chat, and email and is scheduled for a 40‑hour work week, with shifts assigned based on business needs. The call center operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM PT and Saturday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM PT, including evenings and weekends as required. The Claims Processor II is responsible for the accurate and timely review, research, and resolution of moderately complex claims in accordance with contracts and policies. This may include subrogation, Medicare, and coordination of benefits for dental, medical and hospital claims. Incumbent is responsible for interpreting procedures and policies to ensure accurate claims resolution. Incumbent may also be responsible for processing simple and routine claims.
