Job Description
The Licensing and Contracting Representative will be responsible for assisting agents in the field by processing carrier applications, answering commissions questions, and providing back-office support to help streamline the agent’s daily operations so they can maximize sales.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed

Respond to agent emails via a Ticket System

Provide agents with back-office support

Assist agents with commissions questions, leads support, product information, and more

Promote and support Allstate Health product sales

Skills and Competencies:

Insurance industry knowledge, specifically Life & Health is required

Compensation

This position is in a Call Center setting answering in bound phone calls and making outbound phone calls in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The position is responsible to hold engaging conversations with patients, anticipate questions, actively share information in patient friendly language, build a positive rapport and can handle problematic interactions. The specialist takes a global approach in resolving problems and actively looks for improvement opportunities for our patients.
Job Duties
- Provides one-stop service for Geisinger patients by providing in-depth knowledge as well as being an advocate for any issues or concerns related to processes and functions.
- Performs all accounts receivable functions including, but not limited to the collection of cash, resolution of accounts, application of discounts, setup and management of monthly installment plans, communication of and assistance with financial assistance programs.
- Validation of self-pay account status and insurance billing when necessary, and management of undeliverable patient statements while ensuring compliance with departmental policies, state and federal regulations as well as maintaining a positive patient experience.
- Works in conjunction with other areas within Revenue Management and Geisinger to ensure coordinated activities with respect to all revenue management needs and patient satisfaction.
- Works closely with various levels of staff, customers and management to assist in determining technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Educates patients on billing, insurance and regulatory issues of all complexity levels.
- Works in various billing systems to support the migration of new mergers and acquisitions.
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State Regulations as well as internal policies.
- Identifies areas were improvements can be made and takes the initiative to manage up recommendations diplomatically.
- Completes necessary assigned reports or projects and is held accountable for the tasks.

Northwest Cascade, Inc., home of Honey Bucket, is looking for a personable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to support our recruiting team and help create a positive experience for candidates and new hires.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable communicating by phone and email, and can independently manage detailed administrative work with accuracy and follow-through.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare weekly reports comparing hiring results to established goals.
- Track candidates through the post-offer process, including background checks, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding documents.
- Proactively contact candidates and new hires to provide updates, answer questions, and help keep the hiring process moving.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding activities with Payroll and other internal teams.
- Review and screen incoming applications for recruiters based on established position requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews through Paylocity Recruiting or Microsoft Outlook, including sending invitations, confirming availability, and communicating schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting documentation in Paylocity.
- Monitor recruiting-related email communications and provide timely, professional responses.
- Assist with data entry, follow-up communications, and other general recruiting and administrative support.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, including professional email communication and calendar scheduling.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently follow through.
- Personable and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with candidates, new hires, and internal team members.

- Recruiting, onboarding, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience with Paylocity Recruiting is a plus.
Schedule and Location
- Part-time schedule of approximately four hours per day, Monday through Friday.
- Remote position available to candidates located in Washington, Texas, or Georgia.
- Preference may be given to candidates who live near our Puyallup, Washington headquarters and are available to come into the office occasionally.
- Must be available to attend an annual full-day team meeting.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during our busy recruiting season, generally February through July, is a plus.
